Yes…the end is at hand and we are looking forward to the last NJ Route 29 35 KM TT(T). The weather looks good, cold but dry. That is a good thing seeing that we had some epic rains this past year. Registration/Check in starts from 7:00 to 8:15 and the first rider off at 8:20. We look forward to seeing you there and handing out the various prizes, checks and certificates if you are there. We are excited about coming back to Jersey after an extended period of absence due to inclement weather this Sunday. Looks like the conditions should be tolerable for racing again. Registration starts at 7 a.m and will close at 8:10 a.m. with the first rider going off at 8:15 a.m. You will receive your start time when you check in the morning of. Have a great rest of the week.

It seems that the good weather we have enjoyed in prior months has come and gone. As you know, the weather has been crazy to say the least. Right now, part of the Route 29 course is closed and it is anybody’s guess as to when it will be opened up. On top of that, I am sure there is a bunch of debris on the road which is not the kind of conditions you or I want in putting down a fast time.  It will take some time for things to get back to normal and for the road to be clean for TT’ing.  It is one thing to ride 14 to 16 mph but anything above 20 requires attention and your focus. Debris on the road will take some time to be cleared away.

So the TT(T) will be pushed back to September 25 and to October 2. Hopefully by then we will have normal weather patterns. Thanks for your understanding and hope you have a good weekend. We have some cool certificates that we are excited to bring to the races if only the weather will allow us to.

Pine Grove State Park TT rocks. Simple as that. It is a fun and challenging course that many of the riders liked. I look forward to doing at least 2 TT’s out there in 2012 — one in June and one in August. This course is state TT worthy. Thanks for coming out!

Good news…Really looking forward to the Pine Grove TT(T) this Sunday. The course is challenging but fair. The road is in wonderful shape and the scenery is outstanding. Should be an epic event. You can park at Twirly Top Ice Cream Shop now…it is right off of Route 34. There is porta-let there and we will have registration inside the restaurant area. A perfect place really. The course starts and ends very near the restaurant. Registration starts at 7:45

Come ready and hammer on August 21st at what is really an outstanding TT(T) venue. The road is newly paved, great amount of shade in case it gets too hot, some elevation gains but nothing too exraorinary. The course starts flat for the first 4.7 miles, you then climb 1 hill, and then you roll down and climb the last climb where you will find fairly flat terrain. The last few miles are a slow and steady climb but nothing too steep. You turnaound and you hammer back home. A fun TT course for sure. A fair and challlenging venue that should be on your ride list for 2011. Go here for more info…

When I left Central PA at 6:30, I noticed a big yellow and red and green rain blob in VA and DE coming toward our fabled TT course. It does not appear to be getting any better here in Philly….I hate to do this but I am worried about the timing of the rain and all. Many of you drive far and we appreciate that. I am going to have to pull the plug on this one. We can do the TT on May 29th instead. I can credit your account for a later race if you like.

I am just getting data that suggest tomorrow will be nasty and not fun to TT in. I am sorry to have to do this. We have been lucky in the past but I think tmrw is not looking good period. Sorry for having to do this…Dan
